Tell us a bit about your wedding! What inspired your choices?
We went for a classic and elegant Christmas look - gold, emerald green, and black.
What was your favorite part of your wedding day?
How smoothly everything went! The Silo staff was amazing and made sure everything ran perfectly!
How did you and your partner meet?
We knew each other from high school and had mutual friends. A simple Snapchat conversation turned into hanging out all the time and being engaged 2 years later!
Tell us the story of your proposal!
We had “family” photos scheduled on our family farm, but little did I know it was a surprise engagement with a cute Christmas set up and all of our family was there to celebrate!
What are the two of you planning on tackling next in life?
We are currently expecting our first baby in June and are looking forward to building our family and becoming parents!
What is something unique you incorporated into your wedding/reception?
Since we had a Christmas themed wedding, our guest book was a Christmas tree and all of our guest signed ornaments and hung them on the tree! We now decorate a tree every year with these ornaments as a way to remember our special day!
Do you have any advice for other couples who are planning their own wedding right now?
Don’t stress the little things! Slow down and enjoy the day, your wedding day is so special and it flys by! Enjoy the time with your family and guest and becoming husband and wife!
What has been your favorite part about working with The Silo?
EVERYTHING!! We could not have picked a better venue for our special day. From the Bridal House to the venue to the staff everything was perfect! The Silo has everything you could need/want to make your wedding day dreams come true. We could not recommend The Silo enough!
